Ohrid · North Macedonia
A hideawayabove the lake.
A restored stone villa in the heart of Ohrid’s old town — where centuries of heritage open onto the still, blue water below.
The Villa
A quiet retreat,
centuries in the making.
Tucked into the cobbled lanes of Ohrid’s old town, the Hideaway is a stone house lovingly brought back to life — its original timber shutters and white-washed walls preserved, its interiors reimagined for slow, sunlit-morning living.
Every window frames the same thing: the oldest lake in Europe, shifting from silver to deep blue as the day turns. This is a place to do very little, beautifully.

Guest Words
Stays remembered long after.
“We woke each morning to the lake glowing through the shutters. The most peaceful week we've had in years.”
“Every detail considered, nothing overdone. The terrace at sunset is something we still talk about.”
“Steps from the old town yet utterly private. The private chef evening was the highlight of our trip.”
The Setting
Ohrid — a lake
older than memory.
One of the oldest and deepest lakes in Europe, ringed by Byzantine churches and a UNESCO-protected old town. The Hideaway sits among it all — close enough to wander out for morning bread, quiet enough to forget the world entirely.
